PTO: Drawings by Alistair Morrison – City of Fremantle Collection

Distinguished Australian graphic designer, typographer and author Alistair Morrison followed his heart at the age of 72, to pursue love and painting when he moved to Fremantle in 1983.

Known for his ground-breaking modernist design practice influenced by Bauhaus legend László Maholy-Nagy and best selling Let Stalk Strine series of humorous published works, PTO revealed a tender, witty and obsessive dimension of Morrison’s output in an extraordinary series of comic drawings and notations produced for his partner Joan Brødsgaard.
