Caitlin Yardley | Pour

Caitlin Yardley presents a series of paintings which investigate ideas of fluid paint representing nothing outside of itself, yet allowing human inconsistency and variation to inform processes of making, indicating a bodily presence. Her works are process-based and give rise to formal issues that arise out of paint as matter, embracing the tensions, variables and uncertainties that exist within this context.
