This exhibition presented the six shortlisted designs for a proposed new public artwork in Fremantle. In celebration of the experiences & contributions of women to Fremantle, the city funded the consultation and design process to redress the under-representation of women in the city’s public monuments and artworks.

 We offer our heartfelt gratitude to the Whadjuk community and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who continue to care for Country and share their knowledge – this generosity and wisdom helps us to understand and navigate Country safely and respectfully.
