About Jenessa

Jenessa King is a multi disciplinary artist whose work spans across illustration, graphic design, typography and watercolour. She holds a BA in 2D print and illustration and a Grad Dip in secondary teaching. She spent several years teaching both primary and high school visual art, before deciding to focus on her illustration works and children’s books. Jenessa’s work is largely inspired by nature with a focus on plants and animals. Her minimalist approach to design shows her love for pattern, shape and colour.
